Hey there, I'm Binto!

An XR AI Researcher and Prototyper at JL, diving deep into immersive technologies to create groundbreaking experiences in the automotive world.

At JLR, my day to day adventures include tackling motion sickness, sensor fusion, and tracking systems (think super stable VR in a moving car!), and designing futuristic AR heads up displays. I love mixing AI magic with XR to dream up entirely new ways we interact with vehicles, turning the daily commute into something straight out of a scifi flick.

I love crafting intuitive, natural feeling mixed reality interactions, often fused with generative AI to amplify human creativity and emotion. My goal is to design technology that doesn't make us more machine like, but more us deepening the connection between our senses, stories, and surroundings.

When I'm off the clock, you’ll find me experimenting with fun, quirky XR concepts that blur the line between the virtual and real worlds. 

Sometimes, I'm also a guest faculty member at Christ University, Bangalore, introducing students to XR design and encouraging them to prototype exciting new concepts.

 

My journey started with curiosity and a Unity tutorial binge during my bachelor's, leading me to a master's in VR/AR at Goldsmiths, University of London, where some of my wildest ideas even won awards!
