DoodleMorph

DoodleMorph is an upcoming magical mixed reality experience for Quest 3 that transforms children's hand-drawn creations into lifelike versions they can interact with and proudly display. Set in an immersive XR environment, the app blends creativity and technology to bridge imagination and reality—right from your living room wall.

How It Works

  1. Capture with a Virtual Scanner
Kids use a virtual handheld device in passthrough mode to scan their drawings—whether it’s a rainbow bird, a fantasy creature, or anything else from their imagination.

  2. AI-Powered Realism
The scanned drawing is instantly reimagined by AI into a realistic, visually rich version, keeping the shape and playful style intact.

  3. Polaroid Printout & Interaction
The result appears as a floating polaroid photo that can be grabbed, examined, and moved using hand-tracking gestures.

  4. Create a Wall of Wonder
Photos can be “pasted” onto real walls as framed digital paintings. Kids can swipe to toggle between their original drawing and the realistic version—capturing both imagination and its transformation.

Why It Matters

DoodleMorph gives parents a unique way to document and preserve their child’s creative growth over time. More than just art—it becomes a living gallery of imagination. For children, the app is a playground of endless ideas, encouraging free expression, deep focus, and a sense of wonder as they see their fantasy world come to life.

There’s something truly special about technology that celebrates children’s creativity instead of just entertaining them. DoodleMorph doesn’t just spark wonder—it empowers the next generation to bring their ideas alive, literally on their own walls. It’s a tool for boosting creativity and self-expression, helping develop motor coordination while stimulating the imagination.

We’ve received interest from schools across the UK eager to test DoodleMorph in classroom settings—recognizing its potential as a playful, engaging tool to nurture creativity through drawing and spatial interaction. Encouraged by this, we’re planning to take it forward and explore educational applications more deeply.
